CVS contacted me with the ploy that they had a buyer for my timeshare. I was told their fee ($1388) would be refundable within 90 days. The supposed buyer was from Europe. I authorized the money on my Credit Card and it was sent directly to a deposit account in Great Britain. Then the saga turned into the paper work came and needed to be notarized, it was sent back..wait another 14 days. Then their was a financing problem...they were working on it and wait another 14 days. One excuse after another. Then they had another buyer from Houston, TX and all I would need to do was establish an escrow account ($1900) and the deal would be finalized. I told their contact that I had never heard of a seller establishing an escrow and refused to pay it....Guess what...I caused the deal to fall through...I am still out the $1388, and have been told by several Florida companies that CVS is being investigated and that CVS does not sell timeshares they only list them. I was also told that for additional fees that a law firm could recover the $1388 for a fee total to 1/4 to 1/2 of the recovery....but it would have to be paid up front....more whatever. I now believe the company is a scam and should be shut down.
