Alex Ortiz has contacted consumer on 10/18/2010. and has promised a full refund of money that was paid to him for a loan modification. His comany defaulted on more ways than one. 1. they did not follow up every seven days as their contract state with the lender. 2. he and his agent Arlene Taylor did not follow up with consumer to update them on the progress of the loan modification. 3. they never made sure that the lender assigned a negoitator to the file and when homeowner called to verify this information nothing was done. I was promised a full refund from Alex Ortiz himself with a wriiten document stating this. this letter was signed by both my husband and I and was sent certified to the west coast capital funding address. there has been no contact with Alex since then all phone no#'s have been disconnected. I will be contacting the board of realators and making sure that this individual does not have the ability to effect another homeowner the way he has effected us. his license needs to be stripped. I did tell Alex as soon as the check has been received and cashed for the full amount that no further action would be taken. you would think that he would want to resolve any issues he may have so he could be at a good standing and be able to resume his business.Guess not?? please homeowners beware do not give anyone any money for anything until work is completed as promised!! I am a cunsumer tired of be to trusting!! Realestate Board here I come this man has cost my husband and I over 16,000.00 dollar to reinstate our home mortgage.
