If you see NAC anywhere, RUN the other way!!! They go by many names including Movies, Sports and More; Green Magazine; Entertainment Buzz; National Advertising Center; and I'm sure many more. I wanted to take a day or two to sign up but the salesman said the offer was only good if I made a decision immediately.
1. The publication did not run the ad I sent to them, instead they ran their own copy, even though I emailed them my proof in the right time frame.
2. The publication appeared at Safeway only once, and briefly - according to the Safeway manager, NAC never had permission to display publications there.
3. I never got a switch notice telling me where they were being displayed.
4. 6 months of calling and they couldn't tell me where my publications were being distributed. (HUH?)
5. I sent them an invoice demanding a refund, they told me my year contract was up and they didn't have to give me any information. (WHAT???)
6. She finally sent me copies of my publication - to my P.O. Box - via UPS - TWICE - I had to drive 45 minutes to the UPS office to pick up my package.
7. They apologized for my frustration and included a $50 American Express gift card for my inconvenience. (Who does that? So I gave them $1400 and they gave me a $50 gift card? Doesn't make sense unless you're guilty.)
ALL I wanted was proof of distribution...how many pamphlets did you print, when did you send them, what company did you use to distribute them, so I can talk with the distribution person and get accurate information. They told me that they don't have this information, that they have over 50,000 customers and don't keep this information. (WHAT??? If you have over 50,000 customers, wouldn't a company generally have a pretty tailored accounting system?)
If they cannot prove what I got for my money, I am considering following up with them in Small Claims Court. Please be very very careful if you are considering working with this company, as many of my colleagues have been taken advantage of as well.
I would give them no stars but I cannot select a rating less than 1.
