I am the owner of a car repossession company and often pick up cars that have been impounded for the lien holders. I went to Valley Wide Tow to pick up a car and was told that is had already been picked up, it's not here anymore. That happens sometimes, ok. 5 days later the lien holder asks me where his car is? I told them what Valley Wide tow said, they called to confirm, and was told that our car was in fact there! Ok, mistakes happen, we'll just come pick it up and pay the fees that we would have paid on the original day. Seems logical right? They made a 5 day mistake, I shouldn't be charged 5 extra days of storage at $45 per day, don't you think? Valley Wide thinks I should pay for their mistake. I'm not complaining about their incompetancy or wrong business tactics by only accepting credit cards when they feel like it, I just don't think I should pay for the 5 extra days of storage when it was clearly and admittably their fault. I deal with several tow companies and Valley Wide is by far the worse in every way.
