At first I thought this company was great. They arrived early after scheduling on short notice, and the two guys moving were friendly and hard working. This was on a Sunday, and I made sure to tip generously because they pushed to get done quick. Paying by the hour this saved me some money.
About a week after I moved I realized I was missing a couple of boxes (contents worth about $2500). I called the owner and fortunately they had the box at their warehouse, so I had to drive to pick it up. A couple of weeks after that I realized I was missing more kitchen appliances and other items from the kitchen. One of those situations where I thought my girlfriend upacked them, and she thought I unpacked them. Once we exhausted all options for looking, I called the owner again. He had no concern that his company lost more of my belongings, and just tried to hurry me off the phone.
I really regret tipping the workers so much and giving this guy my business. I always try to use local companies, but this time it wasn't worth it. When they were done unloading I made sure to ask them if the truck was empty. I usually like to look inside myself, but they closed everything up so fast I didn't get the chance.
I would strongly recommend against using TBM unless you can keep a real good eye on them.
