My boyfriend received a fix it ticket in LA and we live in San Francisco. He got it signed and paid the fine on time, but the courthouse never received it so they suspended his licence. He called the Ticket Clinic to do the work for him so he wouldn't have to take time off work. They assured him it would be done within 10 days and charged him $150. He called back in 10 days and they informed him all was taken care of. He went to DMV to get his licence back and they said nothing had been filed. He called the courthouse in LA and they said nothing had been done except they changed his court date from June 8th to June 6th. A whole two day difference. He called the Ticket Clinic and got three different answers from 3 different people. He finally got a hold of the paralegal on his case, whom he sent various emails to with no response, and he asked her what he was paying for if they could not get the job done. She apologized but really had no answer for him. He decided to go to LA in person, get his money back and file the paperwork himself which will get done faster.
