Our General Contractor (GC) suggested The Cabinet Spot (TCS) website to us in making a decision for the remodel of our kitchen, laundry room and three bathrooms. We live in a rural town where choices for remodel items are few and far between without traveling long distances to big box stores in larger cities so we do a lot of online ordering. We found a color/style we liked and ordered a door sample and it arrived in 2 days! Once we confirmed we would go with that color/style, our GC gave Vic at TCS all the various room measurements/dimensions and Vic emailed the drawings to us immediately. He then placed the required cabinet pieces in our online cart ready for us to order. We made one change/addition after that and Vic revised and emailed the drawings to us and added the cabinet pieces to our cart order. TCS was offering a good discount in March 2012 and we took advantage of it by placing our order before the sale was over. Vic kept in constant touch with emails regarding shipping and delivery of our order and it arrived in a timely manner. The cabinet boxes are in our garage awaiting our remodel to begin the end of this month (April).
We will revise this review of TCS after our GC has put together and installed our new cabinets.
7/9/12 Edited to update: Our new cabinets are just gorgeous! They were easy for our GC and his sub-contractor to assemble and install. When they put the brushed nickel pulls/knobs on them it gave the cabinets just the right finishing touch. We had some issues with UPS man-handling a few of our shipments and Vic from TCS was prompt in issuing return labels for UPS drop-off and/or pick-up and replacement cabinets were sent immediately. It turned out we needed matching cabinet "skin" in order to finish off our hot water heater enclosure and Vic made sure that was delivered quickly. Everyone that has seen our kitchen and bathroom vanity cabinets have commented on the beautiful color (Cinnamon Dove) and quality of the solid maple workmanship. We have provided friends with The Cabinet Spot's website on many occasion and will continue to do so since we recommend them highly. Never having done a remodel before, we were extremely pleased with choosing The Cabinet Spot!
