Using Math for the better good!
|
Math has always been a passion of mine, and although I have a full time job, I wanted to impart that on students from the same school district I grew up in. I went to orientation and was assigned 6 junior high school math kids. I was shocked to find out
that one of my 7th graders couldn’t multiply. They say that patience is a virtue, and believe me, I was challenged as to how I could help this student learn something that they should have known since 2nd or 3rd grade. The online curriculum allowed me to show
her short videos on multiplication and other techniques that I couldn’t have dreamed about. I am thankful for this experience for allowing me to instill my love of math and its’ ease to others.
