I am a photographer and I was hired by Stars to photograph their dance wear catalog. From the beginning stages I could tell that they were very particular about their needs. As they should be... I was happy to oblige, and I executed everything above their satisfaction. I thought everything was fine with the job and they even paid me on time. They requested to have a cd sent to them right away, billed to their UPS account, which I did without hesitation. Unfortunately, they refused to pay the UPS bill and so UPS billed me. I found this to be very surprising, when I tried calling them, I wasn't able to get my contact on the phone. I left numerous messages and sent many emails, and still have not received any response. This is over a $32.00 bill,.... not a huge amount of money to fight over. I have since paid UPS, but I do feel disappointed with Stars, and I consider this to be a poor way to do business. I am writing this complaint based on principle and ethics. They burnt a bridge over a measly amount of money, when we could have had an excellent business relationship.
