I too tried "Smoking Stick" and I too had the experience of the nicotine leaking into my mouth. I did not find the vapor unpleasant but the cartridges did not last a full month. Additionally, it is advertised that each cartridge delivers 100 puffs per cartridge however, it is a lot less than that.
I called the company after I was billed for the full month to speak to a customer service representative who did not seem knowledgeable about shipping time nor understand my complaint about the lack of quality in the product. I then cancelled automatic shipment and I am currently seeking a similar product to try.
Finally, the instructions for assembling the cigarettes were poorly written as though a young child or someone who does not have full command of the English language wrote them.
