I will make this brief...
I'm a smoker and was looking for a way to stop smoking. A few weeks ago I receive an e-mail in my Inbox from a company called Smoking Stick. The e-mail had information about a Smoking Stick electronic cigarette, so I went on the site and looked it over a bit. The offer seemed very attractive and I bought into it... They said it was a free trial and I only had to pay S&H.
Anyway, I bought it and then received the kit. Right when I received it, I pretty much knew I was scammed. The kit came in a crappy box and the actual product looked like something right off the boat from China...
In any case, I decided to give it a try.. The first inhale was not pleasant... Basically, some liquid came out of the ecig and into my mouth and then I realized it was nicotine, so I spit it out... Really horrible taste.
That same day I called the number on the site and it didn't answer, so I gave up after a few more tries and then tried calling again the next day. Still no one answered. I ended up getting frustrated and calling my bank to put the merchant on suspension from charging my card... I was actually too late though, because they had already charged my card almost $100 bucks...
If they would have let me cancel, then that would have been fine. I didn't mind having to pay S&H... It was my fault for falling for a scam, but still... they should have let me cancel and make a few bucks on the S&H...
Totally sucks to feel like you got scammed.
I hope this helps someone out there who is looking for a solution to quit smoking.
I am still looking for a good electronic cigarette out there, but haven't found one worth actually spending $100 bucks on yet...
Cheers!
