I needed a wheelchair for my son, who had recently been released from the hospital after surgery. We were really desperate to get a wheelchair right away, so my son could enjoy Christmas and not be confined. I found the phone number the old-fashioned way, in the Yellow Pages. When I called, the answering service said that the store was already closed, but I could leave a message. Not more than five minutes later, I received a call from Jack. He agreed to open up the store so we could buy a wheelchair! We were ecstatic and met Jack at the store an hour later. Jack helped fit my son to the best wheelchair for him. He also loaned us leg rests for the wheelchair, and ordered the elevating leg rests my son needed. A few days later, the leg rests we ordered came in. As a result of their above-and-beyond customer service, we will be coming back to Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies for future needs and will highly recommend this store!
