I was contacted out of the blue on April 19th by Prudential Vacation Properties. I was told they had a buyer ready to purchase my timeshare, they just needed to complete a title search to make sure my titled property was clear. I was then informed I would have to pay the $1998 for the title search but was guarnteed the money back if the property was not sold in "45"day. After that I was contacted by 2 ofter people claiming to work for Prudential and needing more information and money. When I called Prudential and they "finally" called me back I was told these people were employees recently fired or they worker for "other" timeshare agencies and that I should not give them any information.
Just this week I was told, after I tried to get in touch with them for about a week and 1/2, that my timeshare could not be sold until the "banked" weeks were out of my name. I had to pay an additional $299 so that Prudential could insure my timeshare and get visitors passes. They again ensured me they would be renting my timeshare for $1700 for the each of my banked weeks.
Then today I have been contacted by the Consumer Protection Agency about some fruedulent practices of Prudentials. We will see what is going to happen next!!!!
