I can't give a review because I already filed a complaint. But, anyone successful getting your money back? Anyone succeed in getting their credit card company namely VISA to do a chargeback to the company even if 5 months have gone by?
I'm doing everything I can not to let these people get away with this. Found out filing a complaint with the FL Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services is a good place to start. They have already received 47 complaints. 13 of those have been resolved meaning people have gotten their money back and this was as of Oct. 8th. Also, file a police report with the west Palm Beach police department as this is where they are actually located. I also am filing a report with the palm beach gardens police department. They said they have already received numerous complaints on this company. Take the time, write the letters, file the complaints so these crooks don't keep getting away with this.
Update-just spoke with Lisa Miller at PTS today. She confirmed my fee was for title and deed search. I asked then why is my deposit not refundable. She said in the contract it says it is refundable upon closing. I pointed out that the contract states that a "marketing fee" was only refundable upon closing and she just confirmed that that is not what my fee was for. John Fraiser, the finance guy who sold me this fraud, said the same thing. Then she said, well are you going to believe what someone says over a piece of paper? (Just admitted to the fraud basically). Then she said, well look at number one in the contract, it says we are not a real estate broker. I said, even better because the FL dept. of business and professional regulations says that it is illegal for companies who are not real estate brokers to take any upfront closing costs which a title and deed search is part of. I told her I'd make sure to add her name to the police report and other reports and complaints I file. It felt so good to make them squirm a bit!!
UPDATE-we got our money back after telling them we were going to record our conversation with them. They wouldn't talk to us and told us we had to speak to a manager, but we all know you can never speak to a manager. Well, after that call, a manager actually called me the next day to tell me our refund was in the mail. Got it today, now just to see if it's a real check. It took calling almost every day and lots of hours of investigating in order to prove they are illegal. I hope others remain this persistant. I will continue with filing complaints with as many government agencies as possible as well as my credit card company to at least alert them of this fraudulant company. Good luck to you all.
