We had the same experience as all of you. Our money was taken, the modification was denied, and we did NOT receive our refund. I've tried contacting the company, but like all of you, the line is busy non-stop. BBB says their lines are disconnected. I have been so upset about this and have tried to find something we could do about it. So far, all I can see is to make a complaint to the California Attorney General's office. Maybe if everyone did this, we could help bring a class action suit against them. Here's the website where you can make the complaint:
