I like the pearls but such a difficult costumer service.

I bought 6 items from Pearls of Joy. 1 set of necklace + bracelet + earrings and 2 separate earrings. I asked to get the set in 3 different little boxes because were going to be gifted from different people of my family and they could not accomodate, even if their website attest the contrary. They suggested to sell me 2 extra boxes for $30 but the pearls package was already shipped by then, so was too late. I found their answer quite cheap anyway as I just spent almost $2000. I got the pearls and they looked good, with some small defects here and there but in great shape and well mounted, unfortunately for us the boxes were damaged and no possible to use for the gift so I had to buy new boxes ( not really company's fault ).
I opened the package and for the entire order of 6 pieces I got just one folder with the appraisal + the care for pearls. I explained to Nicole, their consumer service, that the set was for one person and the 2 pair of earrings for other 2 different people so I needed to get for everybody a folder with the appraisal, in total 3 folders to get to 3 different gifts.
Well, crazy enough, after 4 days of waiting, Nicole answers that Kevin could not send me different folders because they send just 1 per order even if are separate items but if I wanted I could pay to get them. I found this answer to be outrageous and incredible out of place. I was very surprised that a company that dedicates so much time, effort and money to their marketing and build close and long term relationship with the clients will do something like this and go out of their way for a piece of paper. This made my experience with the company quite sad and I wish they could have been more professional. I hope that the quality of the pearls is the bright and most important part of story.
