I have been a member of Pathway Financial Management since March of 2009. I submitted 6 credit cards to them with a total of approx $15,000. My contract stated that they could reduce this and it would cost me approx. $8,000 to pay off these cards. Since getting involved with them they have only paid off 2 cards. I have also gone through a divorce and now my x husband has to pay off one of his cards himself because Pathway is claiming that this card was removed from the program because they couldn't get a hold of either one of us on the phone. That's a complete lie. If that were the case, they had my address and could have written a letter stating they were trying to get a hold of either me or my "x" and nothing was ever received. I have seven months left with them on my contract and in order to pay off one more card they want to increase my monthly payment by $70.00. When all is said and done I will still have 2 (maybe 3) cards to pay which will total more than $5,000. I am living only on Social Security and a small alimony check per month and cannot afford to have to pay these other cards. I believed them when they said that all of these cards would be paid after being with them for 3 years. I have never been involved with any kind of "scam" before, but I know now that this is nothing but a scam. I only hope that no one else ever gets involved with this company. I sure wish that there was someway that all the people who have had a bad experience with them could get all their money back. The smallest card I submitted to them was for only $750.00 and I would have thought this would have been one of the first cards to be paid, but "NO", it has been sitting there and getting interest and late fees added on to it like all of the rest of the cards. Stay away from them......I will never get out of debt now.
