I found this company difficult to to communicate with regarding my modification. I would get various people that i would have to repeat my concern and question and case only to be told that I would have to wait for a phone call back from someone else. I never received anything in writing as to the final outcome. It was all verbal and over the phone. The loan docs I did receive had terms that did not match the verbal information that I received from OMS. And that to receive my docs they needed my final payment sent to them ASAP. When I received docs Ben Wharton told me that those docs were incorrect to wait for new ones. New ones never came. When i called back I was given to another representative Henry Hart who told me that he would follow up with my bank and get back to me. He didn't and when I persued him he avoided my calls till I got irrate then he got defensive and told me that the loan docs I originally got I should sign those and do what they say. He was not concerned that they didn't match what the terms were that I was quoted by Ben Wharton. And based on those terms is what I paid for. He had no idea what Ben had told me. I stuck with them because I knew of a person who had success with them and I was already in over my head and had no recourse now. I wanted to believe they were genuine. My Modification with OMS is complete as far as they are concerned. I still do not have anything in writing from my bank after one year that my modifcation is complete. My actual mortgage company says its pending...still. I feel that there should be an attorney of OMS holding my hand through the entire process till I have signed, sealed and notarized documents in place. Their effectiveness is questionable to ineffective. I would not use them again. Or put my life at stake as I have with this company again. They are too vague in their business dealings. And don't hold to their word verbally or otherwise.
