I've been using NextAlarm.com's monthly alarm monitoring service with a cellular backup option for a couple of years now with my self-installed Honeywell Ademco alarm system and couldn't be happier. I like being in complete control of my NextAlarm.com account through their web site. They offer extensive email or text message alert settings, service is great, and their prices are much less than traditional big-name alarm companies, and there are no long-term contracts to worry about. Response to our alarm system going off have always been prompt (usually only 2 or 3 minutes before we receive a call) and courteous.
I'm ready to start my 3rd year of full monitoring with them. I like their service enough so that I plan to prepay 3 years of monitoring in advance for an even greater discount off their normal low monthly or annual prepaid cost.
