My wife and I were contacted by a Phillip Woods who stated he worked for National Freedom Group. We were trying to modify our Home Loan. After paying approximately $4,000.00 and disclosing ALL of our credit information. He told us the process would take up to 90 days. The 90 days came and went and we did not hear from Mr. Woods again. We called him and e-mailed him and he never replied. We contacted our Bank to change our bank account numbers and we were told that they can modify our Home Loan for FREE. Also we learn from talking with the Better Business Bureau that it is against California law for companies to charge up front fees. If you have been scammed or receive a telephone call from this company please contact the FBI in Los Angles, CA and file a report.
