My experience with National Timeshare is as follows: Late last year I received a phone call from Gordy Baker who said that he was the General Manager of National Timeshare and he said that he would market my Grandview at Las Vegas timeshare with no up front cost. Then approximately three weeks ago, on a Wednesday evening, he called again and said that he had a check for $17900 for the Grandview timeshare. He a stated that all that was required at that time was to have a title search on the Grandview property. He said that I needed to find a title company that specialized in timeshares. As the conversation progressed he mentioned that the buyers were leaving on a cruise on Friday, so the expedite the deal he suggested that I wire transfer Benjamin J. Walker ant 2678 Northwest lst Court , Margate, Fl 33063 (954) 764-1187 for the title search. Due to Debit card usage that day I was not able to send the money until First thing Thursday morning. That afternoon I received a call from Gordy Baker setting up a conference call between himself, the buyers, Benjamin J. Walker and my wife and myself for 7:00 PM, we alos discussed that fact that we were leaving town Friday morning at 8:00 Am and would not be back until late Monday evening, so we had set a time of 10:00 Am Tuesday morning for a closing. At 6:30 PM Gordy called back and stated that the paper and and the check had been send out buy a special Fed Ex service, but a hold had been put on the delivery of the papers, because the check minus the balance owed had been made out for $500.00 to much. He said that if I would wire transfer the $500.00 buy the next morning that that would allow the hold to be taken off the delivery. I told him that there was no way that I could get together the $500 by to time I was leaving and even if I could I would not send that amount of money on just a phone call, I also said that they would need to get the paper work back and re-issue that check for the correct amount. That is the last thing that I have heard from National Timeshare. When I dial 305-879-5322 I get a message that the mobile customer will not answer my calls.
