The NHA group is not a trustworthy company. When I returned from the Middle East in May 2009, I took a huge pay cut and making the mortgage payments was getting harder and harder. The NHA group promised that they would be able to help us in reducing our monthly mortgage payment. We started the process with NHA group in July 2009 and would rarely hear from them. I would have to call 4-5 times leaving messages and email them 4-5 times before I would receive a call back, just to tell me that they were still working it. It was not until December 2009 that I received a call from my bank letting me know that the NHA group had just contacted them requesting information. I then started working with the bank directly. Still I did not hear from NHA Group until March 2010 when they notified me that they were not going to be able to assist me. In the email that they sent in March they stated that they would be able to issue back a partial refund of $1500 (we paid $3000). It is now 30 June and we have not heard from them by phone or email. I have attempted to reach them but have had no luck. I am not sure that I will ever see the money that is owed to me. I do not recommend using this company!!!
