Refinancing with a company that actually cared about their customer!
|
Getting approved for my home at 12397 Prine Road, was so very hectic, at the very least. My home is a Manufactured Home on a basement on six acres with some fruit trees. It has a full basement where I live with French doors and windows bringing in the light from the South. My son, his wife, and their four teenage children live upstairs. Many of them are on disability. I am a retired special education teacher. We decided to live together so we could help eachother out. And that we have done.
Once the confusion stopped and our loan was finally approved I thought peace would prevail. But, no! My loan instantly went to 3 other lenders in the first few months. I kept getting papers telling me someone else was holding our loan.
Then Mr. Cooper took over my loan. Suddenly things seemed to slow down. They sent out their monthly mailing of my loan amount due so I actually understood it! What a difference this company was right from the start. Then they sent me a message stating that I might quality for a lower monthly payment. I sure needed that so I called them.
Shawn Wyns , my senior account manager/mortgage professional took my call. Shawn instantly made the year of chaos stop. My loan was difficult due to it being a manufactured home but Shawn kept investigating until he found the way to deal with it. Other things standing in our way never once made him stop processing my request for a lower monthly payment. He would call me, ask a couple more questions, and then ask me to upload another document to review.
Then there was a problem with stating I lived in the home because my daughter-in-law paid the utilities while I paid the mortgage. For awhile I thought this would be impossible to find a solution. I was asked to upload many different documents, but finally one of them worked and the problem was solved. Shawn never gave up on me!
Jason Gray, loan processor/closing coordinator, was equally kind, thorough, and professional. Again, there were a couple of bumps in the road but he never stopped finding a solution for them. Then suddenly I was approved today! June 12th would have been my mother’s 95th birthday, so it was sort of a difficult day until Shawn called to tell me my home loan officially funded! I have to admit, I am sure that my mother had a hand in bringing these professional and kind men from Mr. Cooper to me in my time of need. Mom passed at age 66 but is certainly very active in her new Heavenly Home!
If you need a home loan, don’t hesitate to call Mr. Cooper in Santa Ana, CA, at 949.265.4590.
Thank you, Mr. Cooper, for caring about me, and not just the loan.
