There was nothing positive about this company.
I canceled the transaction after one day and they refused to refund the fee.
They could not prove that they paid any money toward Due Diligence and could not prove that the due diligence was ever performed.
It would seem unbelievable that one would spend 1880 dollars plus when the deal was cancelled. Maybe that is how they treat businesses in other countries, but it would not be fair and legal to do so in this country. This Company had a legal obligation to refund the money but refused to do so. Mr. Habib claimed that he funded the loan. Why would he do so if the deal was cancelled. It made no sense.
He contradicted himself on several occasions. He claimed there was a legal department, it appears there is none.
I would never deal with this company. Businesses in the USA should not be tolerated when they act in this manner. Tell the truth. In this case, there was no proof that there was any due diligence performed and the money in good faith should have been returned. The number of complaints are increasing for this company and the rating should not be a B+. It is misleading.
If the company will not prove what they claim, the rating is not responsive. Mr. Habib claims 1880 dollars is 5 times 500. It must be that new Arabic math. This company should be held to the standard of businesses in America.

This response was created for Mr. Taverna specifically... The file was submitted with payment... Client signed a non-refundable contract... Due diligence began and was paid for the same day... Client's fees came in... And due diligence e-check (almost 5 times the amount collected if you include all processing, translating, facilitating submission, shopping, etc. and other internal/misc. costs incurred by MGM International in addition to the due diligence costs) went out via e-check the same day (paid by MGM International)... The hold request come 2 days AFTERWARDS... See the Banking transactions history below... 06-03 Wire Transfer-IN MARILYN TAVERNA +495.00 06-03 Check # 1083 (TAVERNA FILE – DUE DILIGENCE) -1,880.00 Obviously... If the file had not yet been processed... Even though the fee is non-refundable... MGM International would have put a stop to the file... And refunded the client's "non-refundable" due diligence fee... Why would a company waste 5 times the money on the client's behalf in this horrible economy? Especially if they would lose money since the file would not fund!! File was approved for funding and customer backed out of the loan... SIMPLE! MGM International went above and beyond its original contractual obligations, responsibilities, and promise to help find funding for the client/broker!!
