Thank You very much. I am so happy with the modificaton I received. Both of my parents recently passed away. In August my son who was helping me pay my bills each month passed away. I called my mortgage company in August and told them my son passed away and they told me all they would do is lower my payments $106 per month. With the loss of my son and the money he was helping me with I knew this was not going to work. After trying directly with my lender for nearly 3 months, they refused to help me any more even though my son just passed away. I got a letter from Loss Mitigation Services and call them because I needed help. I am so glad I did. They were able to get my monthly payment lowered by almost $600 per month. They also lowered my interest rate from 8.775% down to 5% and got me out of the adjustable loan to one that was fixed. Unlike my lender, I was always able to get in touch with the people that were working on my file and I never felt alone. This was a great blessing especially near the holidays. Thanks again!
