After reading some of the reviews on the BBB site regarding "Legit Online Jobs", I decided to speak with their live chat reps. I wanted to see if they would provide the info they claim to have for free AND if they would validate their relationship/contracts with the corporations they claim to represent. Below is a copy of my communication with one of their reps, and his response to my inquiry. The rep is referred to as "Brandon" and I am referred to as "you":

you: After reading reviews regarding your company on the BBB website, I would still like to give this a try, but without my submitting monies to you in advance. I need a real job and I'm a very dedicated worker. Is this an option?
Brandon: You are required to pay the membership of $49.95US to get started. On the main page, it was mentioned that after registration, there will be no other required investments.
you: I understand. However, I also understand that legit jobs should never require money to be paid in advance by the potential employee. It's basically internet business 101
Brandon: We are not an employer. We only provide a service. Members receive access to a regularly updated database full of various online jobs and opportunities to make money from home. You are paying for this service as well as full customer support.
you: Do you have contracts with these corporations you claim to represent/obtain info from?
Brandon: Please contact member support at support@legitonlinejobs.com.
you: For what reason, may I ask?
you: Are you planning to respond to my last question?
Brandon: You have contacted presale live support. For all other queries you will have to mail us. Concerned person will get back to you
you: So...you are in fact taking advantage of individuals who desperately need an income. I will be adding this to the BBB site. Have a great day.
Brandon: Thank you for visiting. Please contact us at anytime. We offer live customer support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even holidays!

My advice to anyone looking into internet employment? Do not ever pay money for a job you are offering to do for someone else. You are the one who is to be paid for your services.
