This company is only a vendor to lic mortgage brokers and attorneys --
their client is the broker or attorney --not the homeowner--- they offer a large range of services but brokers often only purchase a few minimum services. Homeowners are under contact and pay their broker or attorney
Most homeowners anger is misplaced---They should me madder then hell at their lender that are understaffed and prone to lose files and make errors as a norm.
This company underwrites the homeowner modification request and then it is up to the lender to approve or reject---which can take 9 months---Mean time the homeowner is not normally making payment--therefore saving money---but are going crazy in the mean time---with 1400+ file and about 140 of them will not get a mod--it is a wonder between the long 9 months wait and the approx 140 that will lose their home there are no more complaints
