I have worked with around 4 hosting solutions. My requirements were - small business, PHP MySQL Drupal support, good uptime and service.
I met Inmotionhosting, started with a lighter plan, was decent for my pocket size. Then I had need for further websites and without any second-thinking I upgraded the plan with no additional costs.
Plus:
* There are no hidden costs. They write the entire fee structure when u sign up and that will be it.
* The support is superb. I went for online chat support. Almost in no time (read it 2-3 minutes) I got my questions clarified. I was able to get the upgrade done within a day over email.
* Uptime is great - I havent seen my site down.
* Performance is very good. I find my site faster than many other sites running on Drupal.
* Lot of CMS - Drupal, Joomla, etc ready to install.
Minus:
* They dont have prebuilt Drupal 7 and Ruby On Rails, but I never cared to ask them to install. Probably they would install on request, but I am ok with Drupal 6 features so far.
