I called the phone number listed for this company (949-443-3333). It is disconnected.
I checked with the California Secretary of State web site at http://sos.ca.gov and there was no record found for this company. There apparently never was.
I am now driving over to their office to see if they are there... I will report back ASAP.
Okay... I'm back. The name on the door said "Orion Funding" which shows up on the Department of Real Estate web site as a legitimately licensed mortgage lending company, complete with NMLS licensing. It was after-hours, so I could not talk to anyone. I think I'll come back and check.
I'm back! Spoke with Orion Funding and they recently moved into the space and had nothing to do with this Loan Mod/Debt company.
I spoke with the Property Mgmt. company for the above address and they tell me that maybe three or four years ago there was a Loan Mod company in there, but they came and went really fast.
This business is not and has never been connected to Homeowner's Relief Law Corporation located in San Juan Capistrano.
