I was called by Homeowners Protection Professionals Last January and was told that I may qualify for a loan modification if I was behind on my payments or if I owed more on the house than the house is worth. I told them that I was 5 months behind and was already getting foreclosed on. I also told the gentleman that if it was going to cost thousands of dollars that I did not have the money. He told me that it will cost but the payment is based on my ability to pay. Turns out they wanted $1495 to do my loan modification. Again I explained that I don’t have that kind of money so I guess I will have to lose my house. This man told me to hold on while he spoke to his boss. Some man name Paul got on line and asked if I wanted to keep my house.
We spent least 3 hours on the phone and we worked out a deal where I would only pay $499.99 and they would put my modification together for me and send it back to me then I send it in to my mortgage company. He also explained to me that at any time I could call him any time to do a 3-way call together to get periodic updates. When I needed help.
I am happy that these people help me get my modification which was completed in august 2010.
They worked with me and helped me when I needed it I would recommend them to any one.
