I cancelled my membership after about a year. I was called to active duty US Air Force to deploy to Afghanistan in the winter of 2010. Being a level 3 status on gamefly,in which I used to buy games frequently at the maximum discounted rate, I emailed to see if I could suspend my account for military service. This request was denied as they stated I'd have to pay the full monthly subscription fee to retain my maximum seniority benefits. It was disheartening to hear this, as Comcast, T-mobile, and Bank of America were able to suspend my accounts because of military activation by me sending in a copy of my official orders. I emailed Gamefly again just to be sure and they said they don't make acception for US military members. I have passed the word on and many of my fellow airmen that have since cancelled in support of the non-recognition/understanding of Gamefly. Other than the 5-6 day wait to receive the next game via mail, I didn't have any further complaints prior to my military activation.
