Fidelity Financial Group is a SCAM!
|
I was first contacted in July 2011 by FFG to assist me with a mortgage loan modification. Only because they offered me a solid money-back warranty did I decide to work with them. I paid the $2,850 fee up front in two installments. I was told that they would submit a cease/desist order with my lender, so a case could be made on my behalf. I had to resubmit my financials monthly to FFG.
In December of 2011 a local RE Broker came and put a foreclosure notice on my door. I called FFG in a panic several times in the next few days. No one ever picked up or ever returned a call. They finally did reply to one of my emails and told me that the lender had foreclosed illegally and they were looking into it. They finally closed my case without informing me directly (I was given a personal web page for info exchange). I emailed several times asking for my refund with no response. I sent a registered letter to both the company owner and my sales rep that were both returned unopened. I realized that I had been scammed and the "money-back warranty" was a joke.
I just found out that it is illegal in the state of California to charge a fee up front for mortgage modification work (CA Senate Bill 94, October 11, 2009)!
