Don't Trust this Company/Person

I purchased a car from this company in January, 2012. I had numerous problems with the car, which the owner promised would be taken care of, but at an extreme inconvenience to me. It took taking him to court for him to ultimately get the biggest issue fixed, which was the very first thing he promised me would be fixed -- my dome light. Sounds minor, but a major issue to me. After two appearances in court, I was awarded a $500 judgment, plus $50 for fees. At this point, it has been over 60 days, I have had the District Attorney's office call, and still no money. He CLAIMS his business is closed. If anybody knows otherwise, I would certainly like to know. The more expenses I incur trying to get my $550 from him, the more it is going to cost HIM. Had he paid the $550 right away, I would have considered him a reputable person who does follow through, but takes a while... Now that he's done this, I have learned my lesson a very valuable lesson.
