I brought my car into Eurotech two weeks ago because it was leaking coolant. I was quoted $1500 for repairing it. I had already gone to one other shop and the quote was similar so I decided to just stay at Eurotech. He (the owner) ended up keeping my car for eight days and calling about once a day to tell me I needed more work on my car like new plugs, and additional kits that he needed to purchase for my specific kind of car. I drive a Chevy Suburban. He also stated new hoses were needed and filters and finally the day before I was going to pick it up he said I also needed new breaks! After all the additional repairs my total was $2500. He seemed to get upset when I said doing more was just not in my budget. I finally went to pick up my car and they had "cleaned" it for me on the inside! I never asked for this additional service, or gave my consent for it. They sure did clean out my car, my daughters nintendo DSi was gone along with its game and media card, I was informed all of my paperwork was thrown away, some sunglasses I had in my cupholder that were meant for repair were also thrown away. It was obvious all of my things had been rummaged through. When my husband and I went back to ask him to please explain what happened to all our belongings he made it seem like he had done me a favor by cleaning out the inside of my car. He was not concerned about our missing items, or aplolagetic, in fact he asked us to keep it down because other customers might hear. In my eyes we were still customers too and we deserved the same attention and time as if I was coming in for new repairs. Just because I had already paid my balance did not mean I was any less of a customer now. He said he would talk to his guy who cleaned the car and we have still not heard back from them. I would have never left it in the car in the first place but when I dropped it off I didn't know she had left it in there. After reading other reviews which I wish I would have done prior to staying there it seems integrity is not high on the mission statement of eurotech. Oh and my brake light turned on even after the brakes were replaced so now we will be going to our local chevy dealer.
