When you think of a quintessential sleazy used car sales shop, this is exactly what this place was. I went in there to look at nice, clean, low milage honda. They right off the bat told me the car had been in a minor accident near the RIGHT front fender, but it had been fixed and the accident hadn't affected the engine or frame. They also told me they had a mechanic do a 80point check on the car and it was mechanically sound. I asked multiple times to see that record, and they basically kept avoiding my questions. They eventually showed me the carfax record(after I insisted) which showed no reported accidents, so that made me believe whatever had happened to the right side was minor. I still had some doubts about the car, but made an agreement with them to put a deposit down on the car, and take it off the lot. My contract said I had until that night to cancel the deal. The sales men kept pushing the fact that they'd been in business for 10 years and had an A- rating from BBB.
So, as a woman who came in there with my mom, these guys probably thought I was a sucker and this was a done deal. NOPE. I took it to my friend who's a mechanic and guess what he found. There was MAJOR work done on the whole LEFT side of the car, which the dealership didn't even disclose. The left quarter panel, L door, L fender had all been repaired or replaced and the car frame had multiple welding spots. The trunk had also major work done on it too. So to recap, the whole car had been worked on at some point and there was major frame damage to the car, not just the accident on the front right fender. I almost was suckered into buying a car from these crooks. So, buy certified used from a legit honda dealer and if not, never buy a car without getting a good mechanic to not only look under the hood, but also under the car! The only thing good about this dealership was they refunded me my deposit.
