I have lived in one of their 1 bedroom/1 bathroom properties for 6 years. I love my neighbors, the setup of the apartment, and the location, but dealing with ANYONE at Ben Leeds Investment and Property is something I think of with dread. They are unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and dishonest.
I have to follow up with them multiple times to see that repairs are done in a timely manner including a bathroom door that came off its hinges (5 days to repair) even when given advance notice when the upper hinge was loose.
They replaced the toilet for water conservation not due to maintenance or disrepair and it had problems the following day and by the 2nd day it would not flush. I had an unusable toilet with excrement in it for 2 days before it was repaired. I call and email to have appropriate documentation and now they are attempting to file retaliatory legal action when I gave notice I would be deducting those days off my rent when my apartment was untenable. They have used 3 day notice to evict notices just days before Christmas to intimidate tenants. They are just a nasty piece of work.
