After reading several reviews I am wondering who has wrote them. Since being with Beacon since October 2008, I have not had one credit card settled. There is one review that states he was in debt over $50,000.00 and in less than a year he had several credit cards settled. Ours is close to that amount and still nothing.
We have been with Beacon for 1 1/2 years, everything was going as good until last month, when BOA filed a suit against us. Was told by my rep, to lie to the court to get a extension on the court date. After some investigation, found out that they had not even been in contact with them. Called rep to find out why and was told there was not enough funds in our account for them to start negotiations with any creditor. When asked why, was told they had taken their fees out, and there wasn't enough funds left to work with. After some arguing and after our first court date, I was informed that they are now in contact with BOA to make some kind of arrangement but they can't promise me that can get anything done and we still might have our pay checks garnished.
Also after being contacted monthly by our rep, it took him two weeks to contact me back after receiving our summons. I left messages every day for him.
Waiting to see what will be the outcome of BOA.
