Arase Run for Your Lives. I had 4 properties supposedly that they were going to modify. I had gone to the Arase office on Garden Grove BLVD. I live around the corner, so it would be convent and I could be in contact with them on a regular basis, or at least I thought. I had met with Jessica in November of 2008. The Arase law firm was asking for $5,000 up front, this was a concern already. I heard of them through one of the realtors that I used to use. Jessica sat on my file until the new year, I had made several visits with the same garbage each time. The statement was we have made several calls to your lender and that they will be able to modify. I was getting nervous about the lack of movement that was happening. I was going over to their office every couple of weeks, the file kept changing hands and so did the people in the office. Their turn over in the company directly reflects on their business, due to the fact that their own workers new that Arase was scamming people. The next time I went in the receptionist was now the Loan Modification Expert. I was starting to get furious at this point in time and demanded to have a meeting. Brian Lang came into the office with Megan. I asked them point blank if they could get the modifications done. Both Brian and Megan answer was that the modification would not go through if it was current, so they they told me I need to go 90 days late and that they sould be able to get it wrapped up in 2 weeks, this was in April. I went back several times to keep finding new people that had no clue what is going, however it should modify on 2-4 weeks. Now after being 90 days late on 4 properties one of them was my residence, they had disappeared from their office in Garden Grove, no mention of this to me, no forwarding phone numbers and on and on and on. My realtor made several attempts to get a hold of them by E-Mail and Phone (that was changed without notice). Finally my realtor got through and was told that they need more money to move forward. I let her know not a chance, The properties had already been in there hands for 7 months and now I had to start short sailing the properties. Not any other options now that my credit was destroyed. I finally got an offer on one of the properties and low and behold Arase was trying to stop the short sale. My realtor got a hold of the bank and I needed to write a letter to get their name off the Property so it could be short saled. We called Arase and they said that they would drop the 3 properties that were being short sale and would be able to get my house done. At this point it did not matter, I started calling the banks, after 2 weeks I was able to get more cone then they had in 8 months. This time I finally got a hold of Jonathan. I let him know that I wanted my money back, he stated that he would have to review how many hours that they had put into that mod's. What a joke nothing was done we had not moved forward and now my credit was ruined. Another amount of time went by and I was promised a return, more time went by with no answers. Finally I got a hold if Bill another con artist with the same yak yak yak. Now he was asking if I had turned the termination papers, well this was new no one had stated that this was necessary before. I was promised the Patrick would return my call on Monday as it just so happens he was in Hawaii. Thanks to all of us we got him a trip from our stolen money. I got another letter from Arase stating that the are sorry that I was unhappy with their service and they would issue a refund. Again today I got a hold of Bill and he stated that the return would take up to 45 days, I am holding my breath by the way! This company is a bunch of crooks who prey off of those who are in trouble, take your money and laugh at you all the way to the bank while they are ruining the life that you have made for your selves. If you notice all the stories are the same with little variation, I just have received NOD's on 2 properties and will lose my house also. Everyone needs to get together and put a black mark with the BBB and start a class action law suit. We all need to put a stop to these thieves and get them out in the face of the public, so no one else will lose what they have worked so hard for. If possible put in jail. I have contacted an attorney and will do what is possible, I would like to get as many statements together and make Arase pay.
