Loan Modification Assistance
|
We can't thank Robert Prado from ACAG enough for his incredible assistance in helping us with our modification and keeping our home. Robert's direction was prompt, clear and showed genuine concern of the difficult position we were in. Although the process necessary to put pressure on our mortgage company to give us assistance was very taxing it was also very empowering. The information necessary to get our loan servicer to help us was not available until we connected with Americas Consumer Advocacy Group. Robert, Thank you so much for the information and direction that you gave us. I encourage anyone struggling in this difficult economy in preserving their home to contact ACAG asap. OUR HARDSHIP LETTER Our hardship started in 2009 when I became unemployed in the golf business and my husband’s work in housing construction had declined. While my husband and I both dealt with unemployment we liquidated any available assets to cut monthly costs and to live on until things got better. We have exhausted all of our savings and liquefied our assets. I have maxed out all my credit cards trying to stay current but just couldn’t hold anymore. I am currently behind, and need to work something out with the lender. We have a child still at home and need to provide him with a stable home for him to grow up in. I love my home but the stress is unbearable. I finally have a better job, but the training is intense and has taken awhile, but I’m now consistently getting full time employment. I have since secured a driver position with a great company and my husband is also in a position where he is getting more work as construction is now improving. As an owner in his LLC he has signed contracts for a local long term housing project and continues to get more work for a very positive future in his profession. We would greatly help from our lender to get through this difficult transition of a finally improving economy.
