PLEASE call your Attorney General's office to report this company. I'm in Ohio and have done so. My Atty. General (Mike Dewine/ Richard Cordray's Office) has filed a fraudulent practice lawsuit against this company. I was one of 137 complaints in the state of Ohio alone. They wouldn't take my mortgage payment for 2 months because I didn't include a huge late fee. They sent it back for two months and then filed a foreclosure action. Now they won't reinstate my loan unless I pay a $6000.00 fee ( they won't detail this fee and tell me what it's for) I will NOT pay this huge fee. All I want to do is pay my mortgage payments. If the fee is for their attorney...he has done nothing but file a court action ($150.00) His "server" dented my front door at 9:30 at night trying to serve me. I called the police, not knowing who was banging on my door and shining a flashlight in my windows!
AHSMI is unlawful...they are preying on hardworking people who are trying to keep their homes. Call your local Attorney General's office and report them, it's the only way we might be able to keep our homes and hopefully stop these company's from stealing our money.
I don't even give them 1 star! I can't delete the last 1!
Since my last post, I am still trying to pay my mortgage. I have over 20 documented phone calls with different people telling me different things. AHMSI's legal assistant sent a letter to my Attorney General's office giving "their" side of the story and in every paragraph there was a discrepancy. She even stated that I was being represented by an attorney that I've never heard of . I googled him and he's in a city in which I don't live! I don't have an attorney other than the Attorney General representative from my state! AHSMI's attorney was a "no show" at our first foreclosure hearing, though his fees are still adding up. We'll see if he shows at our next hearing this month.
I still am trying desperately to keep my home and give AHMSI my mortgage payments.
