This company is a scam, according to the BBB it is illegal in the state of California to collect a fee for the purpose of obtaining a mortgage modification before the loan modification is completed. America First Financial not only collected a fee before the loan modification was completed, collected a fee before they would even look at the paperwork that was requested. This company advertises on WTAM radio as a refinancing company, they are not. Their employee told me to not pay my mortgage, use the money for other things, they guarantee the modifications will go through or "Your money back" not true, you have to fight to get your money back and of course the employee's you worked with 3 months ago are no longer employed by America First Financial. Good Luck getting them to respond let alone getting a dime back from them. No modification, no money back!
