I concur with the other reviews completely. When we were trying to rent a house from them we applied for 2 other houses and then were told the homeowners decided to put properties up for sale. With time running out to rent a house we applied for the third house. They were upfront and honest about the fact that the previous tenants trashed the house. They allowed us to look over the property before cleanup. We discussed with them about what would be done to clean up the property including the broken garage door and broken master bedroom window. They said it would all be complete before move in. They were still cleaning up by the move in date. We watched as they "cleaned" the carpets with a common carpet cleaner (not professional cleaning as they expect us to provide at move out!) The major repairs not done. After we moved in and kept calling to ask about the repairs we got replies such as, "I didn't know that was broken!" and "I just found out about that repair!" They have replaced the garage door but the opener doesn't work; I guess they don't care about that. But it has been almost 3 months since move in and the master bedroom window is still not repaired. I keep getting the answer, "It should be this week." During this time the window rattles in the wind and bugs like huge flying ants get into the bedroom! We placed a complaint about the bathtub leaking and they show the job complete but no one NEVER showed. There are spots on the carpet that keep showing up after we have vacuumed and even put down different carpet cleaners. I even told them at the time that we turned in the paperwork for pre-existing damage (within the first 72 hours) that the house smelled like animal urine!
I am surprised that the company has a rating of a B from the BBB. I understand that they are probably very cooperative with the BBB when a complaint is made. But the constant dealing with the company as a consumer and tenant before you finally resort to a complaint IS NOT WORTH DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY.
I am not a disgruntled tenant that is trying to get back at this company. I am a current tenant that continues to pay my rent perfectly on time in the face of all this difficulty. I will continue to keep my terms of the lease agreement but I will be placing complaints not only with the BBB but also the Rental Protection Agency!
