Medical Insurance for US visitor?

Hello everybody,
Does anybody have experience/opinion/advice regarding medical insurance for US guests/visitors on B2 visa? I need my mom to stay at least 6 months, and I do not feel comfortable with her not having med insurance, but I do not know where even to start.... Thanx everybody,,, B.

There are lots of companies that offer this service if you just look around online. If you find a company that you're interested in doing business with, then you can check them out with the BBB at www.bbb.org. You may also want to call the BBB where you live and see which agency regulates and licenses insurance companies, because they might have some useful information for you also.
